Yesterday, Google introduced Firebase Studio. You can now create, edit, and deploy apps directly in the browser (up to 3 projects). It’s somewhat like a hybrid of Cursor AI and v0, and it’s “free” if you connect your own Google Studio API key.
Lately, Google has been highly active with updates and AI integrations across its products.
Firebase Studio is currently in beta and available to all Firebase users. Of course, it’s not perfect yet, but this is already a major step forward and another clear sign of what’s coming.
