What I do
For mobile apps, web platforms, and SaaS solutions, I am an expert in end-to-end product design. From user research and usability testing that help to drive data-informed decisions to building scalable design systems that speed up development and ensure consistency, my work combines strategy with execution to produce digital experiences that are both aesthetically clear and achieve quantifiable business outcomes. Using AI-supported processes, I also investigate how to prototype quicker and provide more intelligent design solutions.
My Journey
From freelancing to directing design for SaaS firms and startups across different markets, I have helped products grow from MVPs to enterprise-level platforms. Through user-centred design, I have created mobile and web apps for the B2B and B2B2C industries, worked with cross-functional teams, and improved adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
Beyond Client Work
Apart from client work, I work on building tools and applications that help regular consumers as well as designers. Among my most often used is Fig Toolkit, a Figma plugin meant to simplify processes for other designers. I have also created mobile apps including Pomodoro Tracker, a productivity timer cherished by both professionals and students, and Exchange Rate, a currency tracker for Android. I created Nex, a research automation Chrome extension on the web. These endeavors show my need to investigate concepts, play with technology, and present solutions that streamline life and labor.
What Drives Me
You can find me online as @sargisvdesign, , where I share my experience, observations, updates, and more. My journey into the world of design began during my student years at Yerevan State Medical University. Alongside my studies, I discovered a completely new world for myself, what first started as a curiosity gradually became my profession.
This dual educational path shaped my way of thinking: the discipline, empathy, and ability to make the right decisions under pressure that I gained from medicine blended with the creativity and problem-solving skills of design, making me the professional I am today.
What excites me most in design is the ability to diagnose and “treat” product issues. Design is not just the visible visuals we see; it’s about how processes actually work.
